English Wiktionary via Kaikki
Verb forms, English glosses, IPA transcriptions, usage labels, related words and cited example sentences were selected from the Kaikki Dutch verb JSONL extract, generated 2026-08-23 from the English Wiktionary dump dated 2026-08-05.
English Wiktionary entry text is available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. Every generated reference page links to the exact source entry. Contributor history is available through that Wiktionary entry.
FrequencyWords Dutch 50k
Selection order and the displayed exact-lemma corpus position use the FrequencyWords Dutch 50k list, which is derived from OpenSubtitles 2018. The repository README licenses the list content under CC BY-SA 4.0. Corpus position is not search volume, proficiency level, or a promise that every meaning is frequent.
Modifications
- Excluded form-of entries and senses labeled archaic, dated, historical, obsolete, offensive, rare, slang or vulgar.
- Selected only entries with complete standard present and past anchors, a past participle, and at least two Dutch examples with English translations.
- Normalized whitespace, limited the number of displayed senses and examples, converted conjugation data into a compact table, and added A–Z navigation.
- Kept separable forms as supplied in the source instead of mechanically inventing a joined form.
- Added original speaking-retrieval instructions, evidence boundaries, product copy, page structure and internal links.
